Andrew Ridgeley is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was a member of the musical duo Wham!, with George Michael.
Andrew is the son of Jennifer J. (Dunlop), a teacher, and Albert Mario Ridgeley/Zacharia. His father was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, by an Egyptian father and an Italian mother, and moved to Britain in 1953, at the time of the Suez crisis. Andrew’s mother is English, from Brentford, Middlesex, England (her maiden name, “Dunlop”, is Scottish).
Andrew is married to singer Keren Woodward.
Andrew’s maternal grandparents were John F. Dunlop and Betty D. Davey.
