Larry the Cable Guy is an American comedian, actor, and former radio personality. He is the son of Shirley J. (Porr) and Thomas Von Whitney, a guitarist, entertainer, and Christian minister.
Larry’s paternal grandfather was Deo Von Whitney (the son of Thomas Jefferson Whitney and Zella Pearl McGrew). Thomas was the son of Thomas Jefferson Whitney and Martha J. Kincaid. Zella was the daughter of William Henry Harvey McGrew and Rebecca Ellen Morris.
Larry’s paternal grandmother was Julia Maude Davis (the daughter of Jonathan Littleton Davis II and Edith Cordelia Hetherington). Jonathan was the son of Jonathan Davis and Sarah Jane Owens. Cordelia was the daughter of George Shannon Hetherington and Ada Bell Jerome.
