Kyle is the son of Agnes C. (Gatt) and Donald Joseph Balda. Kyle’s father is American, and had Polish roots. Kyle’s mother was born in Marsa, Malta.
Kyle’s paternal grandfather was Anthony Robert Balda (the son of Frank Balda and Paulina Waszkowiak). Frank was the son of Polish parents, Francisock Balda and Carolinor Burczyk. Paulina was also the daughter of Polish parents, John Waszkowiak and Rosalia Cwick.
Kyle’s paternal grandmother was Catherine L. Payne (the daughter of William F. Payne and Florence Riney). William’s mother was English.
