Anna’s paternal grandparents are Selbert McRae Wood (the son of Ernest Lee Wood and Daisy M. Epperson) and Dora Ann Johnson (the daughter of Joe W. Johnson and Rubie L. Edwards).
Anna’s maternal grandparents were Richard Claire Beaman (the son of Claire S. Beaman and Mabel Butler) and Rita Evelyn Weirtz (the daughter of Paul L. Weirtz and Mary Elizabeth Bonfield). Paul’s father, Alfonzo Weirtz, was from Leymen, Alsace Lorain, France, and was of ethnic German descent. Paul’s mother, Justina Weber, was Austrian. Anna’s great-grandmother Mary Elizabeth was the daughter of Peter Bonfield and Katherine “Kate” Gertrude Hayes, who were both born of Kentucky, and whose parents were all Irish immigrants.
