James Dunn was an American actor. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1946).
James was the son of Jessie/Jessica Louise (Ardan/Archer) and Ralph Howard Dunn. He was married to Edna Rush, until his death.
James’ paternal grandparents were Alexander M. Dunn and Clara H. Peters.
James’ maternal grandparents were Charles Archer and Frances P. Stith (the daughter of William S. Suth).
