Anne Baxter was an American actress. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Razor’s Edge (1946).

Anne was the daughter of Catherine Dorothy (Wright) and Kenneth Stuart Baxter, an executive with the Seagrams Distillery Company. She was married to stockbroker David Klee, until hos death. She had a daughter with her former husband, actor John Hodiak, and two children with her former husband, cattle ranch owner Randolph Galt.

Anne’s paternal grandfather was Charles Ernest Baxter (the son of Daniel Baxter and Emily Maria Shepardson). Emily was the daughter of Lewis Shepardson and Emily.

Anne’s paternal grandmother was named Dora Gay Belcher.

Anne’s maternal grandfather was prominent architect, interior designer, writer, and educator Frank Lloyd Wright (born Frank Lincoln Wright; the son of William Carey Wright and Anna Lloyd-Jones). Frank was born in Wisconsin. William was the son of David Wright and Abigail Goddard. Anna was born in Llandysul, Cardiganshire, Wales, the daughter of Richard Lloyd Jones and Mary Thomas.

Anne’s maternal grandmother was Catherine Lee Tobin (the daughter of Samuel Clark Tobin and Flora Parish). Catherine was born in Nebraska. Flora was the daughter of Charles Cushing Parish and Rosamond H. Pierce.
