He has three children with producer Ainsley Gardiner. He is now married to Cypress Viviaere.

The Māori can’t come from his dad’s side or he would’ve stated that, besides that his dad looks quite white. His half brother Julian Arahanga does have Māori ancestry and mentioned that they grew up in a Māori community. It could be that Tammy’s mother grew up Maori so considers herself Māori.)
