Dizzy Dean was an American professional baseball player. He was a starting pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB), who played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, and the St. Louis Browns. He was inducted to the hall of fame as a Cardinals player in 1953.
Dizzy was the son of Alma (Nelson) and Albert Dean.
