Vince McMahon is an American wrestling promoter, businessperson, and television personality. He is the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He is married to Linda McMahon who was a previously a CEO and performer in WWE and served as Administrator of the Small Business Administration during Donald Trump’s presidency. Their children, Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon, previously worked as performers and currently work behind-the-scenes in WWE.
Vince’s father, Vincent J. McMahon, was born in Manhattan, New York City. He was the founder of the Capitol Wrestling Corporation which was later renamed WWF, then WWE. Vince’s paternal grandfather, Roderick “Jess” McMahon, was born in Manhattan, New York City, and was also a wrestling promoter. Vince’s paternal great-grandparents, Elizabeth Dowling and Roderick McMahon, were both immigrants of Irish descent.
Vince’s paternal grandmother was Rose Elizabeth Davis (the daughter of Eugene Davis and Edith Moon). Rose was born in New York.
