Patrick Warburton is an American actor and voice actor.

Patrick is the son of Barbara Jeanne (Gratz), an actress (stage name: Barbara Lord), and John Charles “Jack” Warburton, an orthopedic surgeon. He was raised Catholic and grew up in Huntington Beach, California.

Patrick is often described as having English ancestry from his father and Austrian ancestry from his mother. In fact, his father’s ancestry includes Irish, from both his paternal and maternal grandmother, English, from his paternal grandfather, Alsatian German, Slovenian, and French, all from his maternal grandfather. Patrick’s mother is of German descent, and does not appear to have Austrian ancestry.

Patrick’s paternal grandparents were John Charles “Jack” Warburton (the son of John Charles Warburton and Mary Connelly) and Marguerite Zeller (the daughter of Theodore John Zeller and Marguerite Quinn). John, Sr. was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England. Mary’s parents were both born in Ireland. Theodore was born in Alsace-Lorraine, France. Theodore’s maternal grandmother’s maiden name was Gerbec, which is a Slovenian name. Theodore’s great-grandfather’s name was Francois Joseph Butscher. His father’s first name was Eretieu, and his mother’s surname was Dusett. Francois and Eretieu are French names, and Butscher and Dusett can be French as well, indicating French ancestry. Marguerite was born in Mullagh, County Cavan, Ireland.

Patrick’s maternal grandparents were Charles T. Gratz (the son of Charles T. Gratz and Mary) and Manila Louise Scheske (the daughter of Albert Scheske and Mary Masserang/Macerand). Charles and Mary were born in Germany. Albert and Mary were both born in Illinois to German parents.
