Rory Feek is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was a member of the country and bluegrass duo Joey + Rory, alongside his wife Joey Feek.
On his blog, Rory wrote:
If you look up Indiana, it means “land of Indians”, and Joey has lots of American Indian blood in her heritage, as do I, though the Irish in me is what’s visible most in the mirror.
Rory’s maternal grandparents were Leo Clayton Carnahan (the son of Joseph Lee Carnahan and Anna Laura Scheffler) and Madeline Marian Pemberton (the daughter of Lovell Hugh Pemberton and Alvina Mary Lesperance). Joseph was Canadian.
