Birth Name: Chelsea Anna Tallarico

Place of Birth: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Date of Birth: March 6, 1989

Ethnicity: English, German, 1/8th Italian, 1/8th Polish, 1/8th Greek, small amounts of Welsh, Scottish, 1/256th Cherokee Native American, remote French

Chelsea Tyler is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. She is the daughter of musician Steven Tyler (born Steven Victor Tallarico) and fashion desginer Teresa Ann Barrick. Among Chelsea’s half-siblings are actresses/models Liv Tyler and Mia Tyler. Chelsea is married to actor Jon Foster, and together they form the electro soul duo Kaneholler.

Chelsea’s father is of one quarter Italian, one quarter German, one quarter Polish, and one quarter British Isles (English, with distant Welsh) ancestry. Chelsea’s mother is of 1/8th Greek, as well as English, German, small amounts of Scottish, Welsh, at least 1/128th Cherokee Native American, and remote French, ancestry.

One of Chelsea’s maternal fifth great-grandfathers, Hair “De-Go-S-Ka” Conrad, was the son of Onai of Ani’-Tsi’skwa (Bird Clan), a Cherokee Native American, and of Hamilton Gunrod Conrad, whose father, Johann Jacob Conrad, was a German or Dutch immigrant, and whose mother, Jennie Taylor, was apparently Scottish (although some sources state that she was a Cherokee Native American, or of half Scottish/Cherokee descent).

Chelsea’s paternal grandfather was Victor Alphonse Tallarico (the son of Giovanni Tallarico and Panta Olga Constanze/Constance Neidhart). Giovanni was born in Cotronei, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy, the son of Alfonso Tallarico and Stella Albi. Panta was born in New York, to German parents, Oscar Neidhart and Olga Keitzman/Kitzman/Kitzmann/Kietzmann.

Chelsea’s paternal grandmother was Susan Ray Blancha (the daughter of Felix Carol Blancha, whose surname was originally “Czarnyszewicz”, and of Bessie June Elliott). Felix was a Polish immigrant, the son of Franciszer Czarnyszewicz and Apolonia Miluta. Bessie was the daughter of Robert J. Elliot and Edna Raynette Wheeler or Tibbits, and had English, and more distant Welsh, ancestry.

Chelsea’s maternal grandfather was Marion Frank Barrick (the son of Marion Frank Barrick and Scottie May/Mae Hampton). Chelsea’s great-grandfather Marion was the son of George Alexander Barrick and Emmaline/Emaline “Eva” Hair. Scottie was the daughter of John Anderson Hampton and Ella L. Redwine.

Chelsea’s maternal grandmother is Helan Addie Shultz (the daughter of Orville/Arvil L. Shultz and Fannie/Fanny Kyron). Orville was the son of James Fay Shultz and Addie Belle Shackelford. Fannie was born in Turkey, and was likely of Greek descent.
