Kathleen was born in Massachusetts, to Canadian parents, Simon Glenroy Taylor and Kathleen Anderson, who were from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Dalton’s maternal grandfather is Dennis Panetti (the son of Paul Panetti and Florence Bird). Dennis was born in Wisconsin. Dalton’s great-grandfather Paul was born in Wisconsin, the son of Paul Phillip Panetti, whose parents were from Germany, and of Louisa Dehne, whose parents were from Germany. Florence was born in Wisconsin, and likely was the daughter of Sidney Herbert Bird, whose father was born in Canada to English parents, and of Maud Abigail Sampson.

Dalton’s maternal grandmother is Martha Pickering (likely the daughter of John L. “Jack” Pickering). Martha was born in Wisconsin. John was born in Massachusetts, the son of Oscar Warren Pickering and Hattie Luthera Bailey.
